Giants 24, Buccaneers 14
Cornerback Corey Webster's interception and fumble recovery, and Michael Strahan's nine tackles and a sack led the way for the Giants' defense. Tampa Bay gained only 166 yards before a late 88-yard drive made it 24-14.
Giants 24, Buccaneers 14
Jeff Garcia, who beat the Giants in two previous playoff starts against them, threw for 207 yards and two interceptions and finished with a 60.5 rating. The Bucs had one passing play of more than 20 yards, which was a catch-and-run near the end of the game.
Chargers 17, Titans 6
The Titans were heading for a great scoring chance early in the second quarter when Shawne Merriman forced Chris Brown to fumble, with Shaun Phillips recovering at the Chargers 9.
Chargers 17, Titans 6
With two-time NFL rushing champion LaDainian Tomlinson bottled up by the Titans defense and three-time All-Pro tight end Antonio Gates lost to a sprained left big toe late in the second quarter, quarterback Philip Rivers stepped up, throwing a 25-yard touchdown pass to Vincent Jackson late in the third quarter that gave San Diego its first lead at 10-6. Rivers was 19-of-30 for 292 yards, with one interception.
Chargers 17, Titans 6

Chargers 17, Titans 6
Shawne Merriman and Luis Castillo had a lot to celebrate, each with a sack in the game and the Chargers' defense holding the Titans offense to just two field goals.
