Tom Brady, Jan. 12

From eye-popping statistical exhibitions to gutsy come-from-behind efforts in the final reel, Brady's virtuoso performances came in many shapes in sizes throughout his flawless `07 campaign. But the unflappable QB saved his piece de resistance for Saturday night's postseason opener. The two-time Super Bowl MVP completed 92.9 percent of his passes -- 26 out of 28 attempts -- to establish an NFL record for accuracy while vaulting the Patriots into their second straight AFC Championship Game.

Brett Favre, Sept. 30

With a 16-yard touchdown strike to Greg Jennings in the first quarter -- the 421st of his illustrious career -- Favre eclipsed Dan Marino's all-time record for touchdown passes. And with a 33-yard rainbow to James Jones in the fourth, the gritty quarterback put the finishing touches on a divisional victory and Green Bay's first 4-0 start since 1998.

Derek Anderson, Sept. 16

How badly did Pittsburgh undress Cleveland on opening day? The Browns would wait just two days before dealing starting quarterback Charlie Frye to the Seahawks, becoming the first team since the merger to trade their season-opening quarterback before Week 2. But the seemingly hasty decision paid surprising dividends when understudy Anderson tossed five touchdown passes as the Browns outgunned the Bengals 51-45.

Donovan McNabb, Sept. 23

McNabb's on-the-job recovery from knee surgery made for a frustrating season in South Philadelphia -- but a 56-21 stomping of the Lions found the five-time Pro Bowl quarterback in elite form. McNabb completed 21-of-26 passes for four touchdowns and zero interceptions to post a perfect 158.3 passer rating.

Ben Roethlisberger, Nov. 5

With a Who's Who of Pittsburgh luminaries in the house to celebrate the team's 75th season, Big Ben did a little history-making of his own. Roethlisberger established a franchise record with five touchdown passes in the first half -- a masterful Monday Night Football performance that translated to a pristine 158.3 passer rating.

Peyton Manning, Dec. 9

Manning didn't even have to play much past halftime to punch Indy's postseason ticket. The eight-time Pro Bowl passer demonized the Ravens early and often, completing 13-of-17 passes for 249 yards and four touchdowns until getting the hook from Tony Dungy.

Matt Hasselbeck, Dec. 9

Seattle's three-time Pro Bowl QB connected for touchdown passes with Nate Burleson, Bobby Engram, Deion Branch and Marcus Pollard as the Seahawks doubled up the Cardinals to lock down their fourth consecutive NFC West crown.

David Garrard, Dec. 16

The snowy, windy, mostly miserable conditions in Pittsburgh should have doomed a warm-weather team like the Jaguars, who hadn't played a game in '07 with a game-time temperature below 62 degrees. But Garrard tossed three touchdown passes to put the hosts in a 22-7 hole. The Jags would hang on for the seven-point win, handing the Steelers their first home loss in over a year.

Tony Romo, Nov. 29

A late-November battle for NFC supremacy pitted the Wisconsin native Romo against his boyhood idol: Brett Favre. But the famously durable Green Bay quarterback left the game during the second quarter with an injured right elbow and separated left shoulder. Romo, meanwhile, completed 19-of-30 passes for 309 yards and four touchdowns as Dallas powered past the Pack.

Brian Griese, Oct. 21

Trailing 16-12, the Bears took possession 97 yards from the end zone with under two minutes remaining and no timeouts. Enter Griese, who coolly capped a game-winning touchdown drive with a pass to Mushin Muhammad with nine seconds left. Griese finished the afternoon with a career-high 322 yards passing.
