Report: Raiders to fire Kiffin

Sources have told ESPN's Chris Mortensen that Oakland Radiers owner Al Davis intends to fire coach Lane Kiffin as early as today, September 22. ESPN's report indicates team officials have informed Kiffin of the impending move, which will follow Sunday's 24-23 loss to the Bills. The Raiders allowed 17 points in the final eight minutes to fall to 1-2 on the young season.

Kiffin's job has been in question since January, when he and Davis argued over the team's defensive coordinator, and Davis sent Kiffin a letter of resignation to sign.
