Sept. 20, 1992

In his second year as a pro and first as a Packer, Favre was called on in relief and tossed a 35-yard TD strike to Kitrick Taylor in the final minute to help Green Bay defeat the Bengals 24-23.

Sept. 11, 1995

Favre had many of his greatest performances against the Bears, including this three-touchdown masterpiece at Soldier Field, which included a team-record 99-yard touchdown pass to Robert Brooks in a 27-24 win.

Nov. 12, 1995

Playing with a sprained ankle, Favre tossed five touchdown passes to help the Packers beat Chicago 35-28.

Jan. 26, 1997

Favre completed 14 of 27 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns to help the Packers beat the Patriots 35-21, bringing a championship back to Title Town for the first time since 1968.

Jan. 4, 1998

This playoff game at Lambeau may not have been one of Favre's statistical bests, 15 of 28 for 198 yards and a touchdown—but it was an example of Favre's dominance of Warren Sapp and the outstanding Buccaneers defense. With Sapp yapping in his ear all game, Favre remained steady and led the Packers to a 21-7 divisional-playoff win en route to their second straight NFC championship.

Sept. 26, 1999

Facing fourth-and-one with no timeouts and only seconds remaining, Favre threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Corey Bradford to give the Packers a 23-20 win over bitter divisional rival Minnesota.

Nov. 6, 2000

Favre made an improbable heave to Antonio Freeman, who made a juggling catch while on his back, then got up and ran into the end zone for a 43-yard touchdown as the Packers beat the Vikings 26-20 in overtime of a Monday-night game.

Oct. 14, 2001

Favre took on one of the greatest defenses ever and tore it apart, completing 27 of 34 passes for 337 yards to help the Packers defeat the defending Super Bowl champion Ravens.

Jan. 13, 2002

Favre completed 22 of 29 passes for 269 yards and two touchdowns for a passer rating of 112.6 in a wild-card win over San Francisco. The Packers trailed at halftime, but Favre was brilliant in the second half of the 25-15 victory.

Dec. 22, 2003

Playing just one day after his father passed away, Favre lit up the Raiders for 399 passing yards and four touchdowns in a 41-7 victory on Monday Night Football. Favre was overcome with emotion, hugging teammates and shedding tears the entire night.

Sept. 30, 2007

True to his gunslinger attitude, Brett Favre used an audible to break Dan Marino's career touchdown record with a 16-yard scoring pass to Packers receiver Greg Jennings against the Vikings. The mark proved only a prelude to a season in which Favre guided a Packers team in the midst of rebuilding to the NFC title game.

Sept. 28, 2008

Hobbled by a left ankle injury, Favre accomplished something in his fourth game as a Jet that he didn't accomplish in 16 seasons as a Packer: he threw six touchdown passes in a single game. Favre not only set a career high, but tied Joe Namath's Jets mark with the six scores in New York's 56-35 win over Arizona.

2009 season

In 2009, Favre signed with the Vikings, further driving a divide between himself and the Packers fanbase that revered him. Favre went on to have one of the best statistical seasons of his career, throwing 33 touchdown passes and only seven interceptions. He led Minnesota to a 12-4 record and to the NFC Championship Game.
