Huddle Up: Ochocinco on Twitter ban?

An abbreviated look at what’s going on around the NFL on Monday, Sept. 12:

• Have you noticed a lack of Chad Ochocinco appearances on Twitter lately? The reason could be Bill Belichick telling his new wide receiver to "cool it" with his social media presence.

• David Garrard still wants to play football, despite being unceremoniously cut by the Jaguars just days before Week 1. He just doesn't want to be a temporary fix for a desperate team.

• Sure, Donovan McNabb had a terrible debut for the Vikings in a loss at San Diego Sunday. But Minnesota's bigger concern might be over its shaky offensive line.

• Tampa Bay fell behind before halftime against the Lions and came out in the third quarter using a hurry-up offense. That change limited the role LeGarrette Blount had in the Bucs' loss.

• Michael Crabtree said his broken foot was healthy heading into Sunday's game, but the results on the field told a different story.

• DeSean Jackson might be one of the next NFL superstars in line for a big pay raise, and he proved again Sunday against the Rams that he's definitely deserving of a more lucrative deal.
