An abbreviated look at what’s going on around the NFL on Tuesday, Sept. 20:

• Has Willis McGahee overtaken a banged-up Knowshon Moreno as the Broncos' No. 1 running back? That's one of the big questions Denver is weighing heading into Week 3.

• Speaking of running backs ... Titans coach Mike Munchak says that Javon Ringer will take on an expanded role in coming games, partially because of an effort to keep Chris Johnson fresh.

• Down 23-10 in the fourth quarter and facing fourth-and-goal from Tennessee's 11, Baltimore coach John Harbaugh opted to take three points. The decision left Harbaugh and his staff open to some criticism after the Ravens' Week 2 loss.

Peyton Manning's latest rehabilitation will take awhile, if Monday was any indication. While his teammates warmed up, Manning slowly walked laps around the outside of the Colts' practice field.

• With the additions of Darren Sproles and rookie Mark Ingram, the Saints have a number of options in the backfield. Coach Sean Payton says he's still trying to figure out how to juggle those choices.

• The Rams are off to a disappointing 0-2 start, and one of the biggest culprits in their struggles has been an inability to convert in the red zone.
