Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Jason Babin played barber on Sunday, ripping the dreadlocks from Andre Ellington's head in the third quarter of the Jaguars-Cardinals game.

This isn't the first time a player has been brought down by his hair. In 2003, the NFL implemented a rule declaring that it's legal to to grab a player's hair anywhere on the field as it's considered to be part of the uniform. In 2011, DeAngelo Williams complained about being tackled by the dreads, while Torrey Smith was famously dragged down by the dreads in a game against the Bengals.

Some good news for Ellington? His hair was apparently waiting for him in a plastic bag after the game.
