Adrian Peterson rips officials and Ravens fans after Vikings' tough loss

Suffice it to say, Minnesota's Week 14 trip to Baltimore will not go down as a favorite of Adrian Peterson's.

The Vikings' running back suffered a foot injury in the second quarter, his team lost an absolute heartbreaker and, according to Peterson's Twitter feed, both the officials and the Ravens fans ought to be ashamed of themselves.

Peterson left the 29-26 Baltimore win after hurting his foot on a tackle by Arthur Brown. Two years removed from his devastating knee injury, Peterson could only writhe in pain on the ground after Brown wrapped him up by the legs. Eventually, Peterson hobbled to the sideline and later went for an MRI.

He did not return to the game, but he did rejoin his teammates on the sideline. And there, he apparently had a first-hand view to this:

The Vikings were penalized six times for 90 yards in the game, versus four penalties and 45 yards against Baltimore. Three reviews also went against Minnesota: Jacoby Jones' kick-return TD and Marlon Brown's late score both went to replay, and a first-quarter Toby Gerhart fumble was upheld with possession turned over to Baltimore.

Gerhart, Peterson's replacement, scored what at the time appeared to be a possible game-winning touchdown with 1:27 left. However, there were three more TDs after that play, two by the Ravens and one from Minnesota's Cordarrelle Patterson.
