Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch to star in movie about his life

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch isn't the most media-friendly on the planet. It's not that he's blatantly rude or anything, it's just not his thing. He did the bare minimum at Super Bowl Media Day this past February, and it took Deion Sanders spotting him while he was incognito to get anything of any substance from him.

But just because Lynch isn't fond of the camera when he's working during the season, doesn't mean that he wouldn't jump at the opportunity to work on an off-the-field project such as starring in a movie, which he will do, according to a report from the San Jose Mercury News.

To make this Hollywood transition even easier, the movie, titled Family First, is actually the story of Lynch's life.

The film will chronicle Lynch's journey from a young football player in Oakland to the NFL, where he has become one of the top running backs in the game.

Lynch is excited about getting to work on the project and shed some light on his upbringing.

"For me, it's just about having some fun," Lynch said. "It's just a fun experience. I also get to shine light on the community and some of the things that we grew up doing and what we went through."

When asked if he was nervous, Lynch shrugged that off, citing prior on-camera experiences that he's already had.

"I'm more than ready to play myself," Lynch said with a laugh. "I got the acting bug when I played a small role in Matt's Chance starring Gary Busey.I definitely want to expand my opportunities after football. I've also been on a couple TV shows, so I'm not nervous."

During his time in Seattle, Lynch has captivated the football universe with his ferocious running style which has earned him the nickname of "Beast Mode," so this movie should end up drawing a lot of interest upon its release.
