The Kansas City Chiefs started last season 9-0 but struggled down the stretch to finish 11-5. The Chiefs lost against the Colts on Wild Card Weekend during their first season with head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Alex Smith leading the team.

The Chiefs had a productive offseason, but questions remain if they are the 9-0 dynamo or the team that limped into the playoffs. Kansas City drafted Auburn defensive end Dee Ford in the first round and Oregon running back De’Anthony Thomas in the fourth round.
