Seattle Seahawks training camp: Dates, location and site

The Seahawks won 13 games in the regular season and rolled to a Super Bowl title thanks to a ferocious defense and bruising run game. There was little Seattle could do, it seemed, to improve after looking so dominant in a 43-8 rout of the Broncos. The team focused less on bidding for high profile free agents than retaining its own players and, despite losing a couple of meaningful contributors, managed to keep its championship core intact.

Wide receiver Golden Tateelected to join the Detroit Lions on a five-year deal and defensive lineman Chris Clemonslanded in Jacksonville. But the Seahawks came to terms on a four-year deal with defensive end Michael Bennett and re-signed Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas. With Sherman and Thomas back, the Seahawks’ pass defense should remain among the league’s best.

Seattle’s 2014 draft haul could pay dividends as early as this season. Wide receiver Paul Richardson out of Colorado could make an immediate impact if Percy Harvin misses more time. The Seahawks also drafted former Alabama wideout Kevin Norwood, a physical red zone target.

SI.com assigned Seattle a B-minus in its offseason report card.
