Last season, the Indianapolis Colts went 11-5, finished first in the AFC South and fell to the New England Patriots in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. They did not have a first-round pick, but drafted offensive tackle Jack Mewhort in the second round of this year’s draft and signed wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, defensive lineman Arthur Jones and linebacker D'Qwell Jackson in free agency.

Indianapolis opens the 2014 preseason on the road against the New York Jets and at home vs. the New York Giants in consecutive weeks, followed by another home stint vs. New Orleans and the road finale against Cincinnati. The team begins the regular season Sept. 7 on the road in primetime against Denver.
