Dallas Cowboys release depth chart: Rookie Zack Martin on first team
The Dallas Cowboys released their first depth chart on Tuesday ahead of their preseason opener on Thursday against the San Diego Chargers. The offense returns starters in quarterback Tony Romo, wide receiver Dez Bryant, tight end Jason Witten and running back DeMarco Murray. Right guard Zack Martin, Dallas' 2014 first round draft pick, is listed on the first team. Left tackle Tyron Smithsigned an eight-year, $98 million contract last week.
The defense, which lost defensive end DeMarcus Ware to the Denver Broncos and linebacker Sean Lee to a torn ACL, will have a new coordinator in Rod Marinelli, who replaces Monte Kiffin. Dallas finished last season last in the NFL in yards allowed per game at 415.3.
