Friday August 15th, 2014

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said the team will pick receivers based on performance in preseason games, CSN Baltimore's Bo Smolka reports.

Eleven receiver are competing for six or seven roster spots. Steve Smith, Torrey Smith, Jacoby Jones and Marlon Brown will almost certainly all make the team, according to Smolka.

Harbaugh said the receivers will need to play well during preseason games to make the roster.

“Nobody has really separated themselves because nobody has fallen off right now – they’ve all played well,” Harbaugh said on Thursday.

“The games are going to be a big thing now,” he added. “If practice doesn’t separate guys, then maybe the games will.”

The remaining seven receivers are Kamar AikenJeremy Butler, Michael Campanaro, Jace Davis, Deonte Thompson, LaQuan Williams and Mike Willie.
