The Steelers and defensive end Brett Keisel have reached an agreement to keep Keisel in Pittsburgh. Keisel has played his entire 11-year NFL career with the Steelers.
Keisel reportedly declined an invitation Tuesday to meet with the Cardinals because he did not want to leave his family to play in Arizona. The Cardinals are looking for help on the defensive line after Darnell Dockett tore his ACL Monday.
Keisel entered free agency after his contract expired following last season. The 35-year-old has played with the Steelers for his entire 11-year NFL career.
In 2013, Keisel started 12 games for Pittsburgh, picking up four sacks and 29 tackles.
