Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was asked for his thoughts on former teammate Wes Welker's suspension during his press conference Wednesday.

"I don't have a lot of thoughts or comments on that," Brady said. "That's Wes' situation, and their team. Obviously, I've got plenty to worry about with this week and this team. As a friend, you always hope the best. But, this is not friend time, this is opponent time and my focus is on the Dolphins."

Welker was suspended four games by the NFL Tuesday after testing positive for amphetamines.

According to ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio, Welker took MDMA or "Molly" at the Kentucky Derby in May and the substance was cut with amphetamines.

Brady was at the Derby with Welker and was also asked Wednesday if he saw his former teammate "take anything." Brady laughed and responded, "I got no comment on that."
