NFL names Dawn Hudson new chief marketing officer
The NFL announced Monday that Dawn Hudson has been named the league's chief marketing officer.
In her new role, Hudson will "oversee the development, direction and implementation of all marketing activities" for the league, according to a press release.

Hudson, 56, has spent the past five years as the vice chairman of The Parthenon Group, a strategic consulting firm. Before that, she spent 11 years at PepsiCo, rising to become president and CEO of Pepsi-Cola North America.
Hudson was also a board member of the LPGA from 2001-10 and served as the chair of the board in the last two years.

It was announced last month that Mark Waller, the previous CMO, will focus exclusively on the NFL's international business.
