New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan said Tuesday seeing former Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis in a New England Patriots uniform makes him “sick to [his] stomach."Revis will face his former team Thursday when the Jets (1-5) play the Patriots (4-2) at Gillette Stadium.

Revis was the Jets’ first-round pick in 2007 and played with the team for six seasons. He was traded in 2013 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who agreed to a six-year, $96 million contract. The Bucs released him after one season, and the Patriots signed him immediately after.

During a conference call, Ryan declined to comment further on the five-time Pro Bowler, who he referred to as the “new guy” on the Patriots.

"Oh gosh, I'd rather not comment on him," Ryan said. "He's a great player, obviously, matching him on the top receivers and things like that. He's still a great player."

Revis recorded 294 combined tackles and 19 interceptions during his stint with the Jets. He currently has 21 combined tackles and one interception in six games with the Patriots.

History knows the Raiders' 43-32 comeback win over the Jets as the "Heidi Game" after NBC cut away from the game's final minute to televise the children's TV movie "Heidi." Hard to say who was more upset, Jets fans who missed Oakland's final two touchdowns or Jets players who were hit with 13 penalties costing 145 yards.
