Washington Redskins receiver Pierre Garcontold Yahoo's Dylan Gwinn that Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is "just another player."

Garcon and Sherman have been feuding since Seattle defeated Washington on Oct. 6. Sherman claimed Garcon pulled on his hair several times during the game before concluding that Garcon "doesn't matter in this league."

Garcon initially responded by posting a picture on Twitter that read "Silence, is the best reply to a fool." He broke his silence on Tuesday.

Gwinn: “Pierre, what’s your take about cornerbacks in the NFL who complain about getting their hair pulled?”

Garcon: “That’s another thing that you don’t have to worry about, that you can’t control. Just keep playing football and keep working.”

Gwinn: “Is Richard Sherman — you know, obviously, you’ve gone up against him now a couple times … Talks a lot of smack, that guy. Is he one of the tougher competitors you face in the league? Is he more talk than he is competitive? What’s your stance on him?”

Garcon: “He’s just another player that, you know, plays defense in this league. He’s not anything special.”

Garcon had two catches for 23 yards during the Oct. 6 game and has 30 catches for 309 yards on the season with two touchdowns. The Redskins are 1-5 and host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

After recording 20 interceptions through his first three seasons, Sherman has zero interceptions this season as several teams have avoided throwing in his direction. He has 18 combined tackles and one pass defensed. He has been named a First-Team All-Pro each of the past two seasons. The Seahawks are 3-2 and play the Rams in St. Louis on Sunday.
