Report: Strahan to receive Hall of Fame ring at Giants-Colts game

Former New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan will receive his Hall of Fame ring during next week's Giants-Colts game on Monday Night Football Giants-Colts, according to the New York Daily News.

Former New York Giants defensive end Michael Strahan will receive his Hall of Fame ring during next week's Giants-Colts game on Monday Night Football, according to the New York Daily News. Several former New York Giants are expected to be in attendance.

Strahan was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, on Aug. 2 of this year along with ​former Tampa Bay linebacker Derrick Brooks, former Oakland and Los Angeles Raiders punter Ray Guy, ex-Atlanta Falcons defensive end Claude Humphrey, ex-Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Walter Jones, former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Andre Reed and former St. Louis Rams and Arizona Cardinals cornerback Aeneas Williams.

Strahan described the induction ceremony as the "best weekend of my life.

The seven-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro defined his career as "improbable" after earning a scholarship to Texas Southern University despite playing only one year of football. Strahan amassed 141.5 sacks, good for fifth all time, over 15 seasons in the NFL after being selected by the Giants in the second round of the 1993 Draft.
