METAIRIE, La. (AP) The New Orleans Saints have ruled out running backs Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson for Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

This marks the third straight game the pair will have missed. During the past two games, Mark Ingram received the bulk of carries. Ingram has been listed as questionable on Friday's injury report with a shoulder injury, but has practiced on a limited basis and has said he expects to play.

Saints linebacker David Hawthorne, who has a right hand injury, also has been ruled out.

Right tackle Zach Strief, who has missed practice all week with a chest injury, and receiver Robert Meachem, who missed practice on Thursday and Friday with an ankle injury, are listed as questionable. Center Jonathan Goodwin also is listed as questionable.
