The New Orleans Saints believe that defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley tore his right quad muscle, reports NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

Bunkley was injured in the Saints' 27-24 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night. He will receive an MRI to determine the severity of the injury, but the report says the injury is certain to be season-ending.

Bunkley, 31, has 17 total tackles in his third season with the Saints. He previously spent five seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and one season with the Denver Broncos.

The Saints have allowed 25 points per game this season, which is 25th in the NFL.

New Orleans (4-7) is tied for first place in the NFC South with the Atlanta Falcons despite losing three straight games.
