Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was the most mentioned NFL player on Twitter this week, according to data from the social network

Between the time he made his one-handed touchdown catch against the Cowboys and Tuesday, his name was mentioned nearly a million times. Beckham's spectacular catch drew praise from fellow NFL players and athletes in other sports, including LeBron James. Beckham has gained more than 60,000 Twitter followers since the catch. 

Chiefs safety Eric Berry was the second-most mentioned player of the week, as fans and peers showed support after he was placed on the non-football injury list and sent to see a lymphoma specialist

Beckham's catch was the most-tweeted moment of the week, followed by the end of the Chiefs-Raiders game which saw Oakland earn its first win of the season. 

The Cowboys, who defeated Beckham's Giants in primetime, were mentioned more than any other team.
