Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said the Florida Gators have not contacted him about a coaching position, and even if they did, he would not consider it.

The comments come after there were reports earlier this week that the Gators would contact Kelly to gauge his interest in taking over the team after Will Muschamp was dismissed on Nov. 16.

Kelly previously served as the head coach of Oregon from 2009 to 2012 with a record of 46-7. In 2010, he was named the AP Coach of the Year.

Kelly took over as head coach of the Eagles in 2013. In his first year, he led the team to a 10-6 record after it finished 4-12 the previous season. The Eagles are currently first in the NFC East with a record of 9-3.
