Bears WR Brandon Marshall has tube removed from chest
Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshallhas been hospitalized since Thursday night after suffering a lung injury and two broken ribs vs. the Dallas Cowboys. On Saturday, Marshall shared on Twitter a photo of the tube he had removed from his chest.
Marshall was taken out of Thursday's game in the second quarter after taking a hit from Cowboys defensive back Barry Church. Church's knee appeared to strike Marshall's back, and Marshall remained on the field for several minutes and was later taken out of Soldier Field in an amubulance.
"It’s scary any time that a guy goes down and is laying on the ground," Bears head coach Marc Trestman said after the game. "We all worry for him. We’ll see, and we’re hopeful it’s nothing too serious. But at this point he is under evaluation."
Marshall has also missed some time this season due to ankle issues. In 13 games, he has caught 61 passes for 721 yards and eight touchdowns.

The Bears have yet to announce a timetable for Marshall's return, or say who might replace him should he miss any time. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Friday that Marshall is out for the season.
Marshall, 30, is in his ninth NFL season. Before coming to Chicago, he had stints with the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins.
Chicago (5-8) is last in the NFC North. The Bears next play Dec. 15 vs. the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football.
