Cardinals rookie Logan Thomas will start at quarterback Sunday, Arizona coach Bruce Arians told Arizona Sports 98.7 FM Monday. "I'll have a quick hook," Arians added.

Thomas, a fourth-round pick in this year's draft, has completed one of nine pass attempts this season. His only extended action of the season came in Week 5 when Drew Stanton left with a concussion. Thomas completed just one of his eight passes, but the lone completion was an 81-yard touchdown. He also threw one pass in Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Stanton is currently sidelined with a knee injury and Ryan Lindley has played poorly as his replacement. Lindley completed 18 of 44 passes for 216 yards with no touchdowns and an interception on Sunday.

The Cardinals have clinched a playoff berth, but can only clinch the No. 1 seed with a win and losses by Seattle and the Green Bay Packers
