KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) Chargers safety Marcus Gilchrist and right tackle D.J. Fluker were escorted to the locker room after sustaining injuries in the first half of Sunday's game in Kansas City.

Gilchrist hurt his elbow, though it was unclear what happened to Fluker. Backup safety Jahleel Addae also went to the locker room briefly, but returned to the field.

The banged-up Chargers were already playing without wide receiver Keenan Allen (shoulder) and running back Ryan Mathews (ankle). Trevor Robinson also started in place of the injured Chris Watt, becoming the fifth center to start a game this season.

Chiefs defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson left with a calf injury. His return was questionable.
