Bengals sign tight end Kevin Brock to another contract

CINCINNATI (AP) The Bengals signed tight end Kevin Brock to another contract Friday, keeping a player who was an important part of their running game.

Brock was an exclusive rights free agent after playing in 14 regular-season games and a 26-10 playoff loss at Indianapolis. He had six catches for 28 yards and was used as an extra blocker in the run game.

Brock has been under contract with the Panthers, the Jets, the Steelers, the Bears, the Cowboys, the Raiders, the Bills, the Chiefs and the Bengals, who released him after the preseason. They re-signed him after tight end Tyler Eifert suffered a season-ending elbow injury.
