Watch: Patriots OT Nate Solder catches touchdown pass vs. Colts
New England Patriots offensive tackle Nate Solder caught a touchdown pass in the third quarter of Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Lining up at his normal left tackle spot but having reported as an eligible receiver, Solder blocked at first but then flared out on a route. Quarterback Tom Brady quickly found him with a pass, and Solder was able to run in for the 16-yard touchdown.
The touchdown, which was the first of Solder's career, gave the Patriots a 24-7 lead. They scored on their next two possessions as well to go up 38-7 on the Colts with 2:08 remaining in the third quarter.
According to ESPN's Jeremy Lundblad, the 6-foot-8, 320-pound Solder is the heaviest player to ever catch a touchdown pass in the postseason.

Earlier in the day, Seattle Seahawks offensive lineman Gary Gilliam caught a touchdown pass on a fake field goal against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game.
The winner of Patriots-Colts goes on to play the Seahawks, who defeated the Packers 28-22 in overtime, in Super Bowl XLIX.
