The Philadelphia Eagles have named Ryan Day their quarterbacks coach, the team announced on Thursday.

Day previously served as the offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach at Boston College for two seasons. The 35-year-old served as the Eagles' wide receivers coach and as an offensive graduate assistant.

Day, 35, will replace Bill Musgrave, who left to become the offensive coordinator of the Oakland Raiders

The Eagles ranked sixth in the league with 272.2 passing yards per game. Nick Foles started eight games before breaking his collarbone. Mark Sanchez also started eight games.

Philadelphia went 10-6 and missed the playoffs.
