Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch runs for three-yard touchdown
Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch ran for a three-yard touchdown in the second quarter of Super Bowl XLIX to even the score at 7-7.
Lynch had five carries for 25 yards and quarterback Russell Wilson was 2-for-2 on the 70-yard drive.
The first quarter went scoreless as the Patriots received the ball first but punted after six plays. The Seahawks responded with a three-and-out, and then the Patriots appeared to be on the verge of scoring.
On a third and 10 from the Seahawks' 10-yard line, Brady threw an interception straight into the hands of Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane, who returned it 14 yards before being tackled. Lane injured his arm on the play and was ruled doubtful to return.
