Seahawks' Jeremy Lane (arm) will not return to Super Bowl

Seattle Seahawks defensive back Jeremy Lane will not return to the Super Bowl after sustaining an arm injury in the first quarter. Lane was initially listed as doubtful.

On 3rd and 6, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady floated a pass toward the end zone, and Lane snatched it out of the air.

He appeared to suffer the injury when he fell awkwardly near the sideline.

Lane was carted into the locker room and later seen with his arm in an air cast on the sideline.
