Russell Wilson wants to play in Seattle 'forever'
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson said that he hasn't thought about his current contract situation but that he wants to "play in Seattle forever."
Wilson just completed the third season of a four-year rookie contract. He made $662,434 in 2014 and is scheduled to make $798,651 next season before hitting the free-agent market in 2016. Wilson could sign a contract extension that could pay him more than $20 million per season.
Seattle general manager John Schneider said that re-signing Wilson could present “challenges” concerning constructing a roster moving forward.

"You know, I obviously want to play in Seattle forever. That’s my goal, and I want to be with this organization. I love this organization," Wilson said to the Seattle Times. "I love this city. I love these fans, and I love winning here."
Wilson has completed 63 percent of his passes for 72 touchdowns and 26 interceptions and has led the Seahawks to two Super Bowl appearances in the last three years.
He has also won 40 regular season games, setting an NFL record for most victories by a quarterback in his first three years in the league. He barely missed out on winning a second consecutive Super Bowl, losing the game with the interception shown above. -- Scooby Axson
