Former All-Pro cornerback Cortland Finnegan announced his retirement on Wednesday. Finnegan, 31, played last season for the Miami Dolphins, finishing with 44 combined tackles and one forced fumble.

Former All-Pro cornerback Cortland Finnegan announced his retirement on Wednesday.

Finnegan, 31, played last season for the Miami Dolphins, finishing with 44 combined tackles and one forced fumble.

He was a seventh-round pick by the Titans in 2006 and played the first six seasons of his career in Tennessee. He had five interceptions in 2008 and was named to the Pro Bowl and All-Pro First-Team.

Finnegan was infamously involved in a fight with then-Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson in 2010, which he referenced in his announcement.
