Tomlinson doesn't think Philip Rivers will be Chargers' starting QB in 2015
Former San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson said he doesn't think Philip Rivers will be the starting quarterback for the Chargers in 2015.
Tomlinson, who is an analyst at NFL Network, made the comments on NFL Total Access on Monday. Rivers, 33, has recently been the subject of trade rumors.
Tomlinson said that he wasn't sure Rivers wanted to be in San Diego anymore. From NFL.com:
"You never want to trade your franchise quarterback. You know that's never the case. However, in this situation, they might have no choice but to do so," Tomlinson said Monday on NFL Network's NFL Total Access. "Because I don't know if Philip (Rivers) wants to be there anymore. I think he has lost confidence in the organization. He's seen a lot of changes going on and the L.A. thing is valid. Him not wanting to go to L.A. is very valid."

Rivers has started every game for the Chargers since the beginning of the 2006 season, but he led the NFL in interceptions in 2014. Rivers finished last season with 31 passing touchdowns and 4,286 passing yards as San Diego finished 9-7.
The Chargers missed the postseason in 2014 for the fourth time in five years.
Rivers and Tomlinson played together on the Chargers from 2004 to 2011. Tomlinson is fifth on the NFL's all-time list with 13,684 rushing yards during his 11 years in the NFL, nine of which came in San Diego.
