NEW YORK (AP) Brandon Marshall says the New York Jets will be the last stop of his playing career.

The star wide receiver was answering questions from fans on Twitter on Thursday night when he was asked what team he expects to retire with. The 31-year-old Marshall responded: ''If I'm cut tomorrow, I'll retire. This will be my last team.''

Marshall was acquired from Chicago in March. New York reworked his salary, increasing it from $24.3 million total to $26 million over the next three seasons.

He had 61 catches for 721 yards - his lowest numbers since his rookie season in 2006 - with eight touchdowns last season.

Marshall was asked by another fan how many more seasons he expects to play, and the receiver tweeted: ''After Jets, I'm done.''
