The New York Jets open training camp on July 30. Camp breaks on Aug, 26, three days before the team's third preseason game.

The Jets' offseason was marked by change. After six years at the helm, Rex Ryan was relieved of head coaching duties and replaced by former Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles. New York's new coach is no stranger to the AFC East, having coached in Miami for four seasons, including a three-game stint as interim head coach in 2011. New York also replaced general manager John Idzik with longtime Houston Texans scout Mike Maccagnan.

In contrast to Idzik's more conservative approach, Maccagnan made a flurry of moves in hopes of a quicker turnaround. The Jets acquired receiver Brandon Marshall in a trade with the Bears, re-united the cornerback duo of Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie through free agency, and brought in another familiar face in the division, former Bills starter Ryan Fitzpatrick, to compete for the Jets' quarterback job.
