Watch: Raiders rookie Amari Cooper burns defender twice on one play
Sunday was Amari Cooper’s first training camp practice in pads and the Oakland Raiders rookie wasted no time before embarrassing defenders.
The Raiders posted a video on Instagram of Cooper blowing past second-year corner Keith McGill with a stutter step at the line of scrimmage and crossing McGill over again with a cut at the top of his route. McGill couldn’t even come close to defending the pass.

• BENOIT: The Raiders Are Finally In Good Hands
The Raiders took Cooper with the fourth pick in this year’s draft after a stellar career at Alabama. He had 124 catches for 1,727 yards and 16 touchdowns in 14 games as a junior in 2014. The Raiders will hope he helps improve a passing offense that averaged the second-fewest net yards per attempt last season.
