Watch: Massive fight breaks out between Cowboys, Rams at practice

Things got ugly between the Cowboys and Rams at their joint practice Tuesday, as the teams ended up engaged in a full-blown fight.
It's unclear exactly what triggered the on-field brawl, which escalated quickly and involved a significant amount of players from both teams, but it was bad enough that head coaches Jason Garrett and Jeff Fisher decided to end practice, unable to control the situation or risk any further incident.
NBC's Pat Doney was on hand and provided a 30-second clip of the fight on Twitter. Rookie cornerback Joel Ross, who wears No. 29 for Dallas (white) can be seen shoving Rams running back Tre Mason (No. 27), after which he gets pancaked by Rams guard Brandon Washington (No. 70). Meanwhile, a handful of smaller fights break out around the field. Washington continues to go after Ross, multiple cheap shots are thrown, and it gets so bad that the players get pushed up against fans watching from the bleachers, with players hitting the deck and dogpiling at the end of the video.

It appears the fight may have begun on the play prior when Rams defensive end Randy Gregory was knocked to the ground twice without a helmet, according to Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News.

Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant issued an angry tweet (which has since been deleted) afterward, saying he wished he had cheap-shotted someone, presumably a Ram. It was unclear to whom he was referring, but this video shows a Rams player wearing No. 45, which appears to be cornerback Imoan Claiborne, punching Bryant (who was not wearing a helmet) in the face.

Bryant apparently lost a diamond earring amidst the brouhaha, which a security guard found for him later.

If there's any kind of positive takeaway, it's that Bryant and Dallas cornerback Tyler Patmon, who fought earlier in training camp, have made up.
Tyler Patmon is fearless. Was going after three guys by himself, helmet off. Dez Bryant ran over to help him out

The Rams and Cowboys do not meet in the regular season this year.
