The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have traded tight end Tim Wright to the Detroit Lions for kicker Kyle Brindza, the team announced Monday.

This is the second consecutive year Tampa Bay has traded Wright in late August.

Wright signed with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Rutgers in 2013. That season, he had 571 total receiving yards, 54 catches, and 5 touchdowns. The following year Wright was traded to the New England Patriots for Logan Mankins after struggling during preseason.

The Patriots cut Wright at the start of the 2015 offseason, and he was picked up by Tampa Bay in June.

With the trade, Tampa Bay now has three kickers on their roster—Brindza, Connor Barth and last year’s starter, Patrick Murray.
