Justin Gilbert crashed his car following a road rage incident.

According to Brunswick, Ohio police, Browns cornerback Justin Gilbert was involved in a road rage incident that resulted in a crash, reports NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

Gilbert, 23, was issued a citation by police. The driver of a Mustang that was in pursuit of the NFL player was also cited, according to Cleveland's ABC 5. He was charged with lack of responsible control.

Gilbert was selected with the eighth overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft and recorded one interception and touchdown in 14 games for Cleveland last year.

The Browns play the New York Jets on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey at 1 p.m.
