Green Bay Packers starting RT Brian Bulaga will not play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks due to a knee injury, coach Mike McCarthy said Friday.

Bulaga left practice on Thursday after hurting his left knee. The team initially feared that Bulaga had torn his ACL, but the six-year veteran was later diagnosed with a strained MCL.

Bulaga missed all of 2013 with an ACL tear and sat out one contest last season with a sprained MCL in the same leg.

He signed a five-year, $33 million deal with the Packers in the offseason.

McCarthy would not announce a starter at right tackle. It’s expected to be either Don Barclay or Josh Walker.

The Packers and Seahawks meet in a rematch of the last year’s NFC championship game at 8:30 p.m. ET Sunday on NBC.
