Browns head coach Mike Pettine told reporters that injured quarterback Josh McCown's status for practice this week will be known in the next two days.

“We'll know in next day or so whether Josh McCown can start practicing on Wednesday,” Pettine said.

McCown left the Browns' season opener against the Jets with a concussion after a hit sent him into a spin at the 1-yard line on his first drive of the season.

Johnny Manziel assumed starting quarterback duties for Sunday's 28-14 victory over the Tennessee Titans. Manziel finished 8-of-15 passing for 172 yards and two touchdowns.

The Browns, who are 1-1 after Sunday's win, will host the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
