The San Diego Chargers travel to Minnesota on Sunday to face the Vikings for the first time since 2007.

Minnesota is off to a 1–1 start to the year following last week's 26–16 victory over the Detroit Lions. Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater ​completed 14 of 18 passes for 153 yards and one interception. Running back Adrian Peterson rushed for 134 yards on his 29 carries. The Vikings defense allowed only 38 rushing yards against the Lions.

Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers completed 21 of 27 pass attempts for 241 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Wide receiver Malcolm Floyd had 55 receiving yards and a touchdown.
