GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) Wide receiver Davante Adams has left the Green Bay Packers' game against the Kansas City Chiefs after re-aggravating a left ankle injury.

Adams hobbled off the field after the first series before walking back to the locker room. The Packers announced before the third quarter that he would not return.

Adams first hurt the ankle during the Packers' win last week over Seattle.

Green Bay also lost tight end Andrew Quarless to a knee injury in the second quarter on Monday night. Quarless appeared to be favoring his right leg.

For the Chiefs, cornerback Phillip Gaines left late in the first quarter with a knee injury, further depleting a thin position for Kansas City.
