Rams offensive guard Rodger Saffold will undergo season-ending shoulder surgery, and has been placed on injured reserve.
Saffold injured his right labrum during the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers. He injured the same shoulder during the preseason.
Saffold played in all 16 games last season, but failed a physical with the Raiders two years ago due to a shoulder issue that caused Oakland to back out of a contract offer. In January, Saffold underwent surgery on his left labrum.
The Rams are 2–3 and face the Browns on Oct. 25 after this weekend's bye.
