An MRI on Monday revealed San Diego Chargers guard Orlando Franklin has only a slight MCL sprain, according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport. He is considered day-to-day.

Orlando was carted off of the field after injuring his knee during the fourth quarter of the Chargers’ 37–29 loss to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.

Franklin missed three games earlier this season with a high ankle sprain.

Kenny Wiggins is listed behind Franklin on the Chargers’ depth chart at left guard.

Franklin was selected by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2011 NFL draft. He spent four seasons in Denver before signing a five-year contract with $20 million in guaranteed money with the Chargers in March.

The Chargers (2–5) are set to take on the Ravens (1–5) in Baltimore on Sunday.
