The Seattle Seahawks have signed former Bills and Eagles running back Bryce Brown.
The Seattle Seahawks have signed former Bills and Eagles running back Bryce Brown.
Seattle announced the move Tuesday, also waiving receiver B.J. Daniels in a corresponding move. Brown, 24, has rushed for 1,004 yards and six touchdowns in three seasons. Brown rushed for 564 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie in Philadelphia, but had fumbling problems, losing four on 115 carries.
With Marshawn Lynch handling most of the rushing workload, Brown helps provide depth with Thomas Rawls recovering from a calf contusion from last week’s victory in San Francisco. Fred Jackson also remains on the roster.
Brown, a former seventh-round pick out of Kansas State, was released by Buffalo in September.
