Watch: Todd Gurley, Cam Newton score TDs from goal line

Todd Gurley and Cam Newton both scored impressive touchdowns close to the goal line Sunday.

First, the Carolina Panthers quarterback stretched over the goal line, somehow managing to keep a grip on the very tip of the ball to sneak it over for the score. The touchdown gave the Panthers a second quarter lead over the Packers.

Gurley’s score for the St. Louis Rams may have taken a little more effort. The rookie running back was initially stopped as he tried jumping into the endzone, but Gurley bounced off the would-be tackler and scored off his second push toward the end zone. The touchdown was the Rams’ first score of the game.
