Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright will be out for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers, head coach Mike Mularkey announced Friday.

Wright sustained an MCL sprain during the team’s 20–6 loss to the Houston Texans in Week 8 after making a catch in the third quarter. He was able to walk to the locker room, but did not return to the game.

Wright did not play in the following week’s 34–28 victory over the New Orleans Saints.

The fourth-year player has started all seven of the games he has played in this season, accumulating 343 receiving yards on 28 receptions for three touchdowns.

Cornerback Jason McCourty was also ruled out on Friday with a groin injury.

Kickoff between the Titans (2–6) and Panthers (8–0) is set for 1:00 p.m. ET.
